Which Gigs Need Your Attention
Gigs that are stuck in "inquiry" or "hold" require some attention to help move them closer to "confirmed." There are three ways to quickly know which event organizers you should contact on any given day.
Turn On Alerts
Gigs has alerts set up to let you know exactly when you need to reach out to an event organizer for any given event based on historical averages of successful gigs. This email alert will be sent on the day you should take action and will contain all the information you need. If you like doing business from your inbox and want to just be told exactly what and when to do things, this is the option for you.
Filter Your Gigs By Status
You can refine the gigs on your dashboard with a set of filters. This can be used to see which gigs require your immediate attention. For example: Set the date range for all gigs occurring in a range of 3 to 6 months from now. Now, select all gigs that have a status of "on hold." This will show all the events that are are between 90 and 180 days away and still need some effort in order to get a signed contract.
Gigalytics has an information panel that will show you which events require your attention.
Tips & Tricks
Use all three methods. Think of our alerts like an alarm clock. If you haven't taken action when you receive the alert, then it is time to get up and take action! That said, most events require several back-and-forwards in order to be successful. For that reason, you might want to regularly look at gigs that are your historical average from moving to confirmed + some window of time (like 90 days) so that you can find the optimal sales window.
